These questions are not representative of my typical mail. Most of my mail is simply to say thank you. I just thought I would have some fun with this.

Why are the articles so long?
There is a method to the madness. I do not write so much with a reader in mind. Instead I write from my curiosity. When a topic puzzles me, I write down the problem as honestly as I can in the form of the arguments against what I believe to be true. Then I examine the arguments. After researching and debating, I start forming some conclusions. Sometimes I have to throw out what I previously believed, sometimes I don’t. I may not be able to come to a complete understanding but afterwards I always believe I am far closer to the truth. The method I use of examination, cross-exam, and defense of conclusions takes a lot of time and words. The thorough examination of the subject is far more important to me than the length of the essay. All this process gets typed into the computer using Word. Afterwards, I clean it up some but leave most of it as originally typed to preserve the thought process. I then convert it to HTML format using Netscape Composer. There are fancier ways to make a web page but not many simpler.

Why do some topics appear more than once?
When I write an essay I think I have done a thorough job of exploring the topic. Sometimes conversations after publishing them to the web cause me to realize I didn’t go far enough. Usually though, the essays were not written for the same reasons and the overlap is inevitable. I try not to repeat myself but probably do anyway.

Why do the articles go off topic at times?
The essays are usually written over long lengths of time. Meanwhile I am researching and debating the subjects. Sometimes someone will make a comment that sparks a side commentary. Because I never expected my site to get as big as it is getting I just included these thoughts within the articles as they came up. I will try not to do as much of it in the future but my thought processes are pretty random so no guarantee. Of course there is no guarantee I will write another essay anyway.

Your grammar stinks, what’s the deal?
I hold Microsoft directly responsible for this. I run all articles through spell check and grammar check. Apparently they can only catch so much. Science and Math were always a breeze for me in school. I loved Geometry – how many people do hear say that. Unfortunately, I despised English class. Today I wish I had paid more attention. If you noticed all the punctuation and general grammar problems with my pages then you probably wish I had paid attention as well. My apologies to my English teachers – I know you tried. Be Cool. Stay in school!

If you are a creationist why don’t you offer more proof against evolution?
Why? There are plenty of sites out there that do this already. The Evidence for God from Science is my favorite. See my link page for this and others. I am personally convinced that evolution theory way overstates its case. Even so, except where it conflicts with scripture I do not see the need to concern myself with it. In these situations I have dealt with it.

Why don’t you offer more proof against young-earth creationism?
Why? There are plenty of sites out there that do this already. A New Look At An Old Earth does a good job. See my link page for this and others. I personally would rather concentrate on the strengths of old earth theology and science than to get involved in this side of the debate. Young Earth brothers/sisters I have no interest in debating you. We will not change each others mind. That is not the purpose of my writing anyway. I do not want to divide the Kingdom. It is my hearts desire that someone might come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus because of even a tiny seed that has been planted as a result of this ministry.

Where did you get the cool pictures?
For those of us with slow modems I realize these pictures take forever to load but they are so beautiful that it is worth the wait. Most of the pictures were taken using the Hubble Space Telescope. Doing a Google search for Hubble Space Telescope or simply HST will result in many sites offering galleries of public domain pictures.
