A severe duty Milestone combination brake block engineered for cost sensitive applications

Carlisle has developed a new combination, organic brake block designed to provide the budget-minded fleet operator with a quality severe duty product. MB-44 is the newest addition to the family of premium Milestone brake linings. This combination block delivers superior stopping power for axle applications up to 23,000#. MB-44 has been engineered for the price sensitive medium grade brake lining buyer looking for a block to handle demanding brake applications. This material is ideally suited for heavier than normal hauling operations such as liquid tanker, grain, cement or refuse collection.

Test Results

MB-44 easily passes the F.M.V.S.S. #121 dynamometer testing standard with a type 30 air chamber and a 5.5" slack adjuster, in combination with a 20.8" tire rolling radius. Milestone MB-44 has undergone extensive laboratory and field testing to confirm its ample stopping power is combined with positive fade and recovery characteristics.
