Myself & My Family
![]() |
Hello! My name is Anna Vainberg, and welcome to
my web page!
I want to tell you something about me. I was born on January 24 in Krasnodar, Russia. I have a brother, Lev, who is five years my junior. He and I were both the joy of our parents, and I’m sure also a reason for a lot of their headaches! My mom and dad, Marina and Alex, are both doctors, and they both love their jobs. My family now lives in Israel, and we all love to spend time together. I consider us a happy family. I recently married a wonderful man named Boris. We both live in Israel where we have many great friends. |
I have many friend all over the world as I have lived in Russia, U.S., England, and Israel. I love all of them, and I can’t live without them. We love hanging out together and going on different trips. My best friend and I knew each other since we were born, and she is like a sister to me.In 1995 I did one of the most exciting things in my life: I was an exchange student to USA for one year through Youth for Understanding (YFU). There I made many new friends whom I still remember and cherish. After that I finished my schooling in Krasnodar and studied law at Brunel University in London, England. I now practice law in Isarel.
My Host Family in USA
I came to USA on August 14, 1996, and I was placed in Bedford, Indiana. On that same day I met my host family, and I have loved them truly ever since. I lived with the Cratons for one year, my mom Deborah W. Craton and my pop John Craton. I also got into a family with three boys that seemed to like me very much: Ben, Jon, Stephen. I felt like I was living in a normal family because I was fighting with my brothers just like I would fight with Lev at home in Russia!
My American Friends
One of the most important things during my stay in the U.S. was my friends. I met a lot of people on my first day at school, and ever since we have remained friends. I was a senior at BNL High School, and it was a blast! Our favorite things to do were hanging out together, going to the movies, shopping, parties, swimming (when it was warm), and lots of other fun stuff.
