Garland Brook

Garland Brook Cemetery is a Non-profit/Non-governmental association serving the families of Bartholomew County since 1885.

Although Garland Brook serves over 5,000 families per year, the staff and crew strive to meet each family’s individual needs.

Pamphlets to help deal with loss are available at no charge. We also work with "Beginning Again" and "Wings for the Journey", Hospice, Buchanan Counseling and the Senior Center.

As of January 1, 2008, there have been over 27,000 burials in Garland Brook. Space remains for at least 50 years. A new mausoleum was opened in 2004. Our chapel has been renovated and our bell tower is complete. We have traditional spaces, garden areas, crypts and niches.

An Endowed Carefund assures future maintenance of the cemetery. The purchase price of each interment privilege includes your contribution to the Carefund. You will not be asked for a yearly maintenance fee or additional charge. Future maintenance is assured.

The Cemetery sponsors a Luminary event the first Sunday of December.
