Community Housing Development Organization

As a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), Hoosier Uplands has staff with the capacity to develop affordable housing for the community it serves. This is accomplished through the coordination of federal, state and private funds for the purpose of providing the following activities:

Homeowner Repair and Improvement Program
Homeowner USDA Rural Development Housing Preservation Assistance
Acquisition and/or rehabilitation of rental housing
New construction of rental housing
Owner-Occupied housing rehabilitation
Renter-Occupied housing rehabilitation
