- Martin County Health Center
The Martin County Health Center opened in March 1999 under Nurse Managed Clinic Funding from ISDH. Funding for the operations of the clinic has been sub-contracted to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center of Jasper. This clinic serves as a Community Health Center and Health Care Professional's Rural Training site.
The clinic was originally housed in the Shoals Elementary School Nurse's office. It relocated to a newly built facility in Shoals owned by Dr. Kerr which has housed the office since 2001.
Hoosier Uplands manages Community Health Center funding in the amount of $90,000 during a project period that runs from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
Greg Mahuron serves as the project's primary point of contact.
