COMMON GROUND is proud to have had our roots in Children's Creative Response to Conflict. CCRC is now Creative Response to Conflict Global, Inc., and still represents more than a quarter century of peacemaking. Although the Nyack, New York founding branch has changed their name slightly, (the "C" for Children's in CCRC has been dropped and "Global, Inc." added to indicate that conflict resolution work has always been done with all ages around the world), CRC themes remain the same: Cooperation, Communication, Affirmation, Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Bias Awareness, and Problem Solving.
