Emerging Leader Honors

The 2009-2010 Class of Emerging Leaders will be recognized in the PDK Connection and will be honored at the 2009 PDK Summit in Indianapolis, IN. Opportunities for involvement at the summit will be communicated to the winners, and a travel stipend to attend the summit will be awarded to all 2009-2010 Emerging Leaders. The honor also includes the opportunity to publish for PDK. Additional honors and recognition, as well as invitations to participate in other PDK initiatives, will be available as a result of this recognition.

Eligibility & Application Process
Any PDK member in good standing who is age 40 or younger at the time of application is eligible to submit an application for peer evaluation.

The 2009-2010 call for nominations will be available in January 2009. The application requires responses to a general information form and short-answer questions. One must also submit a curriculum vitae and three letters of recommendation that support the responses to the short-answer questions. To view last year's application, please click here.

The applications are peer reviewed by a panel of past Emerging Leaders. The Class of 2009-2010 Emerging Leaders will be announced in May 2009.
