The AFL-CIO's Constituency Groups are labor’s bridge to diverse communities; creating and strengthening partnerships to enhance the standard of living for all workers and their families. The groups also ensure that the labor movement hears and responds to the concerns of the communities they represent.
Today, constituency groups are pledging to invest new energy to support unions' organizing drives, drawing upon their close ties in local communities to rally support for workers and the right to organize. They continue to fight beside unions for living wages, secure employment, health and safety, civil and human rights and dignity for all workers.

In addition to these constituency groups, the AFL-CIO works closely with the the Jewish Labor Committee, the National Council of Senior Citizens and similar allies to reach out to and hear from diverse groups of workers.
