White River Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO

AFL-CIO Constituency Groups
(not all groups have local chapters)

The AFL-CIO's Constituency Groups are labor’s bridge to diverse  communities; creating and strengthening partnerships to enhance the standard of living for all workers and their families. The groups also ensure that the labor movement hears and responds to the concerns of the communities they represent.

Today, constituency groups are pledging to invest new energy to support unions' organizing drives, drawing upon their close ties in local communities to rally support for workers and the right to organize. They continue to fight beside unions for living wages, secure employment, health and safety, civil and human rights and dignity for all workers.
